Helping to preserve the environment. Facilitating trade. CSA marks appear on over one billion products worldwide. They signify that a CSA-accredited testing laboratory has evaluated a sample of the product and determined that it complies with applicable national standards. |

For the U.S. and Canada: A CSA mark with the indicators "C" and "US" or "NRTL/C" means that the product is certified for both the U.S. and Canadian markets, to the applicable U.S. and Canadian standards. |

Canada: A CSA mark on its own, without indicators, means that
the product is certified primarily for the Canadian market, to
the applicable Canadian standards. |

For gas products in the U.S.: The CSA Blue Star indicates the product is certified to applicable U.S. standards for appliances using gas or other petroleum fuel. |

For gas products in Canada: The CSA Blue Flame indicates the product is certified to applicable Canadian standards for appliances using gas or other petroleum fuel. |

Each year, more than 17 billion UL Marks are applied to products worldwide. UL is one of the most recognized, reputable conformity assessment providers in the world. Today, their services extend to helping companies achieve global acceptance for their products, whether it is an electrical device, a programmable system or a company's quality process. |

Standard
UL Listing Mark - This is one of the most common UL Marks. If
a product carries this Mark, it means UL found that samples of
this product met UL's safety requirements. These requirements
are primarily based on UL's own published Standards for Safety.
This type of Mark is seen commonly on appliances and computer
equipment, furnaces and heaters, fuses, electrical panelboards,
smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers and sprinkler
systems, personal flotation devices like life jackets and life
preservers, bullet resistant glass, and thousands of other products. |

C-UL
Listing Mark - This mark is applied to products for the Canadian
market. The products with this type of mark have been evaluated
to Canadian safety requirements, which may be somewhat different
from U.S. safety requirements. You will see this type of Mark
on appliances and computer equipment, vending machines, household
burglar alarm systems, lighting fixtures, and many other types
of products. |

electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical product bearing the
North American ETL Listed mark signifies that it was tested and
meets the minimum requirements of prescribed product safety standards.
Moreover, the mark indicates that the manufacturer's production
site conforms to a range of compliance measures and is subject
to periodic follow-up inspections to verify continued conformance.
A product bearing the ETL Listed mark with the "us"
identifier at the 4 o'clock position has been tested and deemed
compliant to U.S. product safety standards only. An ETL Listed
mark with a "c" identifier at the 8 o'clock position
means the product bearing it complies with Canadian product safety
standards only. And an ETL Listed mark with both "us"
and "c" identifiers at the 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions
respectively, signifies that the product bearing the mark complies
with both U.S. and Canadian product safety standards. |

material bearing ETL SEMKO's Warnock Hersey Listed mark indicates
that it was tested and meets the minimum requirements of the prescribed
product safety standards. What's more, the mark indicates that
the manufacturer's production site conforms to a range of compliance

continued conformance. A product bearing the Warnock Hersey Listed
mark with the "us" identifier at the 4 o'clock position
has been tested and deemed compliant to U.S. product safety standards
only. A Warnock Hersey Listed mark with a "c" identifier
at the 8 o'clock position means the product bearing it complies
with Canadian product safety standards only. And a Warnock Hersey
Listed mark with both "us" and "c" identifiers
at the 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock positions, respectively, signifies
that the product bearing the mark complies with both U.S. and
Canadian product safety standards. The Warnock Hersey Listed mark
appears on a host of non-electrified building materials including,
but not limited to, metal and wood fire doors, roofing materials,
curtain walls, and door hardware and locking mechanisms. |
